Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about buying and selling on CodeAtEase.
What do I get when I buy a product? ▾
A unique license key, an instant download, free lifetime updates, and any support window included with your license. Everything appears under "Downloads" in your account.
What is the difference between a regular and extended license? ▾
A regular license covers a single end product that is free to its users. An extended license covers products that end users are charged to access. The author sets both prices.
How do updates work? ▾
When an author releases a new version, anyone who owns the product can download it for free, forever, from their Downloads page.
Can I get a refund? ▾
If a product is not as described or does not work, open a dispute from your order. Our team reviews it and can issue a refund where appropriate.
How do I become a seller? ▾
Create an account and choose "Sell your work" — or enable author mode in settings. Upload your product, set a price and license, and submit it for review.
How much commission does the platform take? ▾
A small percentage of each sale, set by the marketplace. Top sellers who pass a sales threshold automatically pay a lower rate.
How do authors get paid? ▾
Earnings land in your wallet after each sale. Request a withdrawal once you reach the minimum payout amount; an admin approves and pays it out.
Which currencies and payment methods are supported? ▾
Prices display in the buyer's local currency, and checkout supports the gateways the admin enables (Stripe, PayPal, Paystack, Flutterwave) plus wallet credit.
